Progressive betting systems are dumb but here’s one that at least is fun

The system is called “halve bankroll, double odds + 1”, the acronym for it is HB,DOPO! Remember that.

Let’s say you have 10000 units and bad luck. You want to make a profit of 5000 (you won’t).

Bankroll: 10000

In this system you first try to reach your objective with a single bet that’s half of the bankroll. Therefore the initial bet is 5000.

Bet amount: 5000

Bet odds: 2

You lose. 5000 left.

Bankroll: 5000

Bet half your bankroll next and double the previous odds, then add one.

Bet amount: 5000 / 2 = 2500

Bet odds: 2 * 2 + 1 = 5

If your bet would win, you’d finish with 5000 in profit. It loses though.

Bankroll: 2500

Bet amount: 1250

Bet odds: 5 * 2 + 1 = 11

You lose

And so on. If you wanted to make a profit of 7000 instead of 5000, your initial bet would have been 5000 with odds of … equation:

7000 + 5000 = x * 5000

x = 2.4

Next bet, 2500 with odds 2.4 * 2 + 1 = 5.8

And so on.

Next bet, 1250 with odds 5.8 * 2 + 1 = 12.6

And so on.

If you want to make billions with this system, try it at Primedice. It’s an online casino that has an edge of only 1%.

For a version of this system where you lose your money at a slower pace, try having the initial stake as one forth or one third of the bankroll. Use math and calculate the odds yourself. The equations that I used until now have tired me tremendously. I cannot continue.
